Welcome to Professor D Rajamani from Vel Tech University

We would like to welcome Prof. D. Rajamani from Vel Tech University to the School of Mechanical Engineering and Metal Forming Research Lab, USM Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Engineering Campus. He is here as a visiting researcher under the ASEAN-India Research Collaboration Project for 2 weeks, from 15th of February to 1st of March 2026. Today he had a meeting with most of the MFRL members. He give a very good and motivational advices in carrying the research.

MFRL Research Seminar 2026

This year the MFRL will have the 3rd Research Seminar. The focus of the seminar is on the bi-metallic additive manufacturing research and we are honored to have invited speaker from Vel Tech University, India. This is the 3rd time, we conduct the seminar, begins in year 2017, followed by year 2024 and this year is the 3rd times. We are also successfully organized 6 series of webinar on various topics. Thank you to the students who make the event realized.

Participation at ICDTET 2026

One of our members, Mr. Muntaka Musa has participated at the ICDTET 2026 hosted by Universiti Malaysia Perlis. The event conducted in hybrid mode from 19 to 20th of January 2026. Mr. Muntaka share part of his PhD work.
