Today is the last group meeting for 2025. The group is now becamed international as majority of the members are expatriate. Due to that reason as well, the meeting lately run in online mode. Hopefully we will have first graduate from one of them soon. 

Please note that two more Malaysian students were not join the meeting due to some reasons.

On 28-29th of October 2025. I had an opportunity to joined 2 conferences held at Bangi. At International Conference of Sugar Palm and Natural Fiber Polymer Composites, which was organized Persatuan Pembangunan Industri Enau Malaysia (PPIEM), I have shared a talk on Machining of Biocomposite Material: Potential of Applications and Challenges. At the SHIFT, I have presented our recent research title Automotive Part Repair using Metal Additive Manufacturing. Main purposes of the participation is to share our research, seek for collaborators and most improtantly make the  Metal Forming Research Lab (MFRL) USM visible.

Today (8th of October 2025) we have been invited by USAINS Holding (Corporate arm of USM) to attend the pitching and exhibition session for our product USM-3DWeld. This event also with the cooperation of CIC (Center of Innovation and Consultation) USM, who shortlisted our product to be exhibited. 

We are seeking for collaborators from industry to bring this for commercialization.
