Tooling Design Evaluation

Every year, after completed their design and fabrication of a tooling for a certain process, Manufacturing Engineering Programme students will face another challenge, i.e. the evaluation. Yesterday 13th of July 2023, the session start from 10 am and finish at 9 pm. Even though tired, they are happy after the session ends. It is normal, some are not well functions as intended to and the product not well produced. This year, 8 groups of student were assigned a task to design and fabricate a lancing tools. The design starts with CAD modeling, cost analysis and testing. Below are some of the photo taken during the session.
