MFRL would like to welcome a new student, Ponraj Saravanamuthukumar who is effectively joined USM as a PhD student on 1st of December 2024. He is from Tamil Nadu, India. His project is on the development and optimization of Cu-based shape memory alloy by adopting Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM). After 8 years
After 8 years, the MFRL team has returned to Solid Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd, Sungai Petani. The company has made significant strides. Previously, the company focused on sheet metal forming but now changes to medical products. Transform from mass production into low-volume, high-quality products. With totally new team members, the discussion is about enhancing metal-forming productivity via smart tooling and the potential of FSW in sheet metal forming.
