The lab keep receiving new students, who are interested in joining the team. Recently two more PhD students, Atheer from Iraq and Aimin from China. Atheer will run a project on composite machining, while Aimin will study on evaluation of bi-metal structure deposited by metal additive manufacturing technique.

Welcome to Mr Muntaka Musa to the Metal Forming Research Lab. He is an academia from Kaita College of Education, Nigeria. His project title is Application of Symmetry to Enhance Visual Aesthetics in Geometric Pattern Designs for the Manufacturing of Nonwoven Fabric. His is effectively a registered student from March 2023.

Welcome to Abdulaziz I Albannai, our new member, who effectively joint us in December 2022. He is from Kuwait and his project is related to wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). He will focus on the effect of post-weld deformation to material properties of HSLA material. He is now work as welding instructor at Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in Kuwait since 2002. His knowledge and experience in welding gives advantegous to him in the study.
